  • All Walt Disney World® Resort hotels are smoke-free. Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor smoking locations only.
  • Disney's Magical Express Service is another benefit to staying at an on-site Disney Resort hotel. Buses take guests from the Orlando International Airport to the Disney Resort hotel, while the bags are transported and taken straight to the hotel room. When the vacation is over, guests and the bags are transported from the Disney Resort hotel back to the airport.   • From January 5, 2009 until late March 2009, sections of the Stormalong Bay pool complex will be closed to Guests. Guests may continue to use the three leisure pools located throughout the resort. Additionally, the feature pool at Disney's BoardWalk Resort will be available for Guests who wish to have a slide as part of the pool experience.
Modeled after the old-fashioned seashore hotels of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket Island, Disney's Yacht Club Resort is situated on Stormalong Bay and is approximately 21 miles from Orlando International Airport. Local attractions include Disney's Magic Kingdom® Theme Park and Disney-MGM Studios. Transportation to all Walt Disney World® Resort areas is available by ferry and bus.

Guests may begin their day with a workout at the resort's fitness center, which also features personal trainers, a whirlpool, a sauna, and massage therapies. Stormalong Bay features a white-sand beach, waterslides, and watercraft rentals, as well as specialty cruise excursions. Active guests will enjoy the resort's tennis court (equipment available), volleyball court, and jogging trail. Additional amenities include a video arcade, playground, kids' club, babysitting services, parking, laundry facilities and services, business center, and a beauty shop. Dining options include American cuisine at the Yacht Club Galley, and the Yachtsman Steakhouse.

With Extra Magic Hours, guests staying at a Walt Disney World® Resort have even more chances to experience the magic. Each day one of the Disney Theme Parks opens an hour early or stays open up to three hours after regular Park closing, so guests can enjoy easy access to select attractions - even the most popular ones.
